- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★I own the company Firewood Time. I've been a Kennebunk Bank customer since around 1997 or so...I used to be with a big bank and went into the branch back then. I liked it my initial experience. I opened an account. Over time, I preferred it to the big bank and closed my accounts there. I've found the people very pleasant and professional. Recently I've been sending some wires. I'd been sending through a brokerage account and it was a hassle...I'd have to call, type something up, fax it etc. A few times they totally messed up the order and it cost me about $200.00 on the currency trade I was going to do. My overall experience has been very good. I've found their rates competitive. I love my business checking account which may not be available anymore....My only regret is, I can't give them more business so they can earn more off of me for the great service I have received. One other comment. My business delivers over a wide area. I've watched many banks close over the last 20 years. On the other hand, Kennebunk Savings has opened many branches which speaks volumes.By James E Ricker, October 28, 2016
